Playing out – applying for temporary street orders

Here is an example of how one council has set up the administrative process to close a street to traffic to let children play safely. It explains how Bristol Council require an application for a Temporary Play Street Order (TPS). A TPS is different from a street party closure application, as it allows a street to be closed on a regular basis.
