Date published: 2006
Ranking: useful

This report looks at the impact of de-cluttering, share space and other improvements to the highway environment to assess their underlying design philosophy. It describes schemes of this kind as “psychological road design” and states that the review was undertaken due to the fact little is actually known about these types of schemes.
