Department for Transport (DfT)

Interim changes to the Guidance on the use of Tactile Paving Surfaces

Publication date: 2015elderly-couple-at-pelican
Ranking: essential

This document sets out the proposed changes that the DfT consulted on in 2015.

It proposed changes to the way the blister paving is laid out and the colour to be used for controlled crossings. In addition, it makes suggestions for the design of control boxes at controlled crossings to aid wayfinding.

Currently, (December 2016), no proposals have been put forward for change and the results from the consultation are still being considered by the DfT.
