Accessibility of shared space by visually challenged people

This paper gives an overview of appearance of ten shared spaces in the Netherlands and the effects they have on the mobility of visually impaired people. The areas were assessed by people qualified in the fields of orientation and mobility. They were also assessed against compliance with with existing guidelines on accessibility.
