Discrimination by Design

Sub-titled “the many way design decisions treat people unequally,” this article highlights some examples in social media and environmental design in America.
The article picks out some fairly blunt examples, but others exist in the built environment if we care to look in relation to the detailed conceptulisation of buildings and spaces by designers and their clients. It results in detailing that don’t meet many people’s needs.
